Just recently I was informed by my dear friend N that I deprived JP as a baby. Okay, she didn't exactly say it in those words, but she just couldn't believe that JP never had a Sophie. Apparently every baby needs a rubber giraffe named Sophie. N purchased one for AA and sent it our way. 
I must admit that I was completely skeptical when I opened the package. I was certain that she ordered the wrong baby toy. After all, this was simply a rubber chew toy that made a funny squeak when folded in half. There was nothing flashy about it. I read the little story that came along with Sophie ... she was created in France over 5o years ago and, to date, over 30 million Sophies have been sold.
I washed Sophie off, gave it to AA and ... let's just say I'm hooked! She LOVES this thing! I guess N did send the right package!
It's the one toy that AA always reaches for and it seems to keep her content for a long time! Even JP knows how much AA loves Sophie... "Addie Sophie the Gerrfff" he says as he hands it to her as soon as we walk in the door. I'm sure there will be many more photos of AA and Sophie!
