A few weeks ago I asked AA what kind of party she wanted. Her response?
"ELMO!"
And Elmo it was! Aunt K made the most adorable Sesame Street Cake pops, and Grandma K helped decorate the house in bright hues of pink, red, and orange. AA knew it was her special day.
She was lucky enough to celebrate her birthday with ALL of her grandparents, and most of her aunts, uncles, and cousins. A few little friends joined us for some party fun too.
Big brother JP definitely was the host of the party though ... leading everyone from one activity to the next, opening presents, and entertaining the crowd.
AA's first gift was all she really wanted ... a play cash register! We literally had to force her to open the rest of her gifts!
