Christmas is coming! We had a great holiday weekend. We picked out our Christmas tree:
we trimmed the tree and put up holiday decorations:
Yesterday we gathered downtown to watch Santa Claus appear on top of the Old City Hall ...
thank goodness the big fire truck with a really big ladder came to save him! (and thank goodness the kids were fine with watching the rescue from the sky way rather than outside in the cold!)
We enjoyed Christmas cookies while waiting for Santa to arrive ...
little AA spotted him first!
We visited a really big gingerbread house (and there was only one major meltdown when I made JP stand behind the rope!)
AND ... we welcomed the first real snowfall to our city this season!
JP shoveled the sidewalk while A used the snow blower (I'm not sure who had more fun!)
and AA got all bundled up (maybe too much!) and touched snow for the first time!
Whew! I'm going to bed early tonight!
